Job Description:

The Role: Entegris site in Bedford, MA is seeking a Production supervisor to join Specialty Coatings Teams. This is leadership role with technicians reporting from both Echucks and Specialty coatings team. Supervisor should be a very enthusiastic leader, proactive communicator, work collaboratively with cross functional team for the success of the business. The candidate must have the ability to work in challenging situation and help the team with conflicting priorities. In this role you will be offered training but most of the learnings comes from candidate proactively asking questions, observing the process, taking note. What You'll Do: * Lead a team of technicians from Echucks and Coatings teams. * Maintain clean and safe work area. Constantly walk the floor to ensure safety protocols are met. * Participate and lead safety investigations when required. Complete safety tasks assigned. * Lead 6S on the floor and participate in GEMBA walks. * Work with a sense of urgency that enables production schedules to be met while minimizing unnecessary costs related to downtime and labor and material variances; and without jeopardizing the health and safety of the general workforce and/or the quality and accuracy of production and without violating established work standards and ISO * Work very closely with Production planners to ensure planned schedules are met and in times when not met, proactively bring up to planners' attention to not miss critical deliveries. * Drive Tier meetings on the floor every day to promote safety, quality, strong communication and productivity. * Develops Strongs team, provides career road map, able to provide constructive feedback to improve performances and issue corrective actions when performance correction is required. * Setup the team for success by providing training plans, offering strong training with support of Subject matter experts, highlights gaps in training when misprocess happens. Also constantly enforce corrective actions by creating awareness and offering coaching. * Update you manager on training matrix on a cadence especially for high-risk area and constantly ensure cross trainings are met to alleviate those risks. * Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals. * Understand what skills are required for hiring process in that area and hire strong candidates to perform the process effectively. * Strictly work in SAP environments, follow material movement discipline in SAP, camline systems for SPC. * Be able to work in clean room environment. What We Seek: * Ability to work in challenging environment without compromising on safety and quality, * Ability to communicate and work cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced, and diverse environment * Ability to work with chemicals and in clean room environment. * Ability to be support on call as needed when technicians are working overtime. * Be a role model to your team.
