Corporate Engineering Training Intern - Summer 2025

The Role:
Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a/an Corporate Engineering Training Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration.

Entegris is a leader within the semiconductor supply chain and our divisions focus on different industry needs. The proposed internship serves the Entegris Academy within the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This role will provide you with access to SME (subject matter experts) across many different disciplines, providing you with a broad view of career opportunities within the semiconductor industry. This position can be based out of our Billerica, MA facility or be fully remote.

In this role, you will:

• Assess and create technical communication content that enhances the technical knowledge of all Entegris employees.
• Ensure the sustainability of our learning platforms.
• Analyze the efficacy of the technical learning programs. At the end of the assignment, you will have:
• Explored and collaborated with many different functions across 3 divisions, including but not limited to applications engineering, R&D, new product introduction, new product development, product management, sales, and marketing
• Leveraged your academic training to learn about Entegris technologies and support our knowledge managers in the design of learning content
• Created sustainable learning content that will be actively used by Entegris employees for years to come.
• Utilized your analytical skills in a real-world environment to assess learning efficacy and support decision making

What You'll Do:
Data Analysis:

• Assist with analyzing and identifying technical learning needs and opportunities through meetings with various Entegris leaders.
• Make recommendations for additional learning content or learning approaches and influence our new training program
• Instructional Design:
• Assess, design, and create learning content that helps Entegris employees learn about technical topics.
• Support the planning and facilitation of in-person learning activities
• Independently research topics in the semiconductor industry and create instruction based on your findings
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) spanning various technical functions across the organization to create learning content.
• Create graphical design elements that aid in learning
• Learning Management System Design/Maintenance
• Assist with the management of learning platforms (ex. Sharepoint, SumTotal).

Marketing/Communication:

• Present what you've learned to the Entegris community
• Promote Entegris Academy content within Entegris

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:

• Desired Major: A STEM related field, including but not limited to basic sciences (physics, chemistry), engineering (chemical, mechanical, materials, human factors, engineering psychology), or instructional design.
• A preference will be given to a student with pursuing who showcases enthusiasm for the semiconductor industry, learning, and teaching of others.
