Continuous Improvement Intern - Summer 2025

The Role:
Our site in Colorado Springs, CO - Rockrimmon is seeking a/an Continuous Improvement Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration.
This is an exciting opportunity to assist with the start-up of a new production facility. Pride and passion will be required as we evolve the new facility into a center of manufacturing excellence for Entegris.

What You'll Do:
* Create and update SOP's and standard work documents to capture the latest and best methods in the manufacture of Entegris UPE membrane
* Assist with the creation and daily use of 5s plus safety systems to improve safety and productivity
* Assist with implementation and use of the tiered daily management systems leading to a high-performance workplace
* Assist with the creation and updating of the TWI job instructions (JIBS)
* Audit the facility to find gaps in the look and feel of a Center of Excellence

What We Seek:
* Proven leadership skills via athletic teams and or volunteer organizations
* Familiarity with lean and six sigma methods
* Familiarity with using the Microsoft Suite of tools and Power BI

Eligibility:
* Must be a currently enrolled student
* Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May or June through mid-August or September
* Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in an internship program
* Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
* Previous experience or knowledge of lean and six sigma methods
* Knowledge and experience working in a highly technical production environment or equivalent applications in college
* Experience or knowledge working toward a standard of excellence
* Excellence in using the Microsoft suite of tools and power BI experience

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
* Business Administration or Engineering discipline
* Graduation in 2026, 2027, 2028

Compensation:

* $20-$30 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
