Operations Project Lead

Reporting To:

Manager, Bus Unit Operations

Work Schedule:

Onsite - Niagara Falls, NY

To be considered for Operations Project Lead role, here is what you will need to bring with you:

  • Minimum of an Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical area.

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience within manufacturing industry including at least two of the following qualities, lean implementation, manufacturing engineering, and operations.

  • Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and communicating project plans and schedules to include critical project milestones.

  • Proactive in identifying issues and problems which impact project performance, and in taking appropriate actions to resolve these issues and recover cost and schedule, in a timely manner.

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the preparation and conduct of presentation materials for internal and customer meetings and reviews.

  • Leadership of cross-functional teams across disciplines ranging from procurement, engineering, test, operations, and quality.

  • Proven ability to operate under pressure while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Lean/Six Sigma knowledge or experience

As an Operations Project Lead, you will:

  • Using Lean principles for both our NF facility and any future local facilities as this project ramps:

    • Lead facility planning for product build and flow!

    • Identify required facility needs.

    • Storage and Inventory Management Planning

    • Layout and movement of in-process stock, sub-assemblies and other WIP

    • Lead material flow and layout planning!

    • Lead workshop and activities as necessary or the above

  • Maintain ongoing operations required resource plan.

  • Support upfront Quality Planning (incoming materials)

  • Support needs and planning for (NDE) - Non-Destructive Evaluation (visual, dye penetrant & x-ray)

  • Operations liaison between Niagara Falls and other Moog facilities and locations.

  • Some travel may be required from time to time.

Salary Range Transparency:

Niagara Falls, NY $100,000.00-$140,000.00 Annually

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
