The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH), an international non-profit organization developing genomic data standards to benefit human health and medicine. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, self-directed individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is excited to contribute to a variety of communications tasks in a generalist capacity.
About GA4GH
GA4GH is an international open-science organization that brings together over 700 leading organizations in healthcare, research, patient advocacy, life sciences, and information technology to create frameworks and standards for secure and responsible sharing of genomic and health-related data. Supported by an international staff across five Host Institutions, including the Broad Institute, GA4GH relies on effective communications to engage its diverse global community.
Position Overview
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will play an essential role in supporting GA4GH's communications efforts, ensuring effective outreach to internal and external stakeholders. This role will focus on carrying out well-defined tasks in areas such as social media management, email marketing, content creation, and event promotion. Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Coordinator will assist in producing and distributing communications materials that support GA4GH's mission and strengthen its community engagement.

The GA4GH team operates in a hybrid work environment, collaborating remotely four days a week and coming together in person one day a week at the Broad Institute in Cambridge, MA.
