We are currently seeking a Senior Operations Leader for our Washington, PA, facility. This position will support our Specialty Rolled Products business unit. Duties and responsibilities Managing Finishing Operations of the Washington Specialty Plate Facility Shot Blasting Ultrasonic Testing Stretching Cutting Acid Pickling Inspection and Shipping Direct supervision of both management employees and a represented hourly workforce in day-to-day operational activities Responsible for all aspects of safety, quality, productivity, and cost control for the Finishing End facilities Basic Qualifications Experience managing people and processes in a manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications A bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Math Discipline Previous experience managing in a Steel or Materials manufacturing environment Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities A strong record of managing safety, quality, productivity, and cost control in a manufacturing environment Strong problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to lead both company and represented employees Exceptional organization skills Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Candidates should have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a highly motivated team environment We thrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
