Job Description: Internal Communications Specialist

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

  • Collaborative Approach: Skill in collaborating with internal stakeholders to integrate employee communication content into overall company goals and messaging.



  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships throughout the organization, cultivating global, cross-functional content, and empowering employees as content contributors.



  • Adaptability and Creativity: The ability to adapt to changing needs, solve problems creatively, and deliver innovative communication solutions.



  • Attention to Detail: Excellent proofreading and editing skills to ensure high-quality content.



  • Messaging Consistency: Ability to create, compose, and edit written communications.



  • Event and Project Management: Skills in planning and executing culture-building events such as Town Hall meetings and employee engagement activities.



  • Continuous Improvement: A commitment to continually improving, measuring, and evaluating the effectiveness of the employee communications strategy and methods.



  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SharePoint or other intranet platform tools.





Qualifications:




  • Work Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in internal communications or a related field.



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in journalism or communications.



  • Technical Skills:




    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.



    • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (a plus).



    • Video editing experience (a plus)







Required Skills:




  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.



  • Excellent proofreading and editing capabilities.



  • Expertise in event and project management.



  • Knowledge of internal communication tools and strategies.



  • Interpersonal and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams effectively.





Education:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or Communications.
