Learn more about living in mid-Missouri. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Prepare patient, or treatment area, for participation in therapy treatment as instructed by a therapist. Assist during therapy treatment under the direct supervision of a therapist. Perform cleaning duties for equipment and treatment areas utilized during therapy. Inventory equipment and supplies, re-stock equipment and supplies, and participate in ordering process in order to maintain inventory at designated par levels. Assist with application of Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) machine in accordance with department procedural guidelines. Assist with issuing equipment from the consignment closet per department procedural guidelines. May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents. High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation. The performance of these physical demands is an essential function of the job. This position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. This position is in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
