SHAPE THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY FROM DAY ONE. This position is part of our Advanced Safety & User Experience segment out of Agoura Hills, CA. Your role: Design, test and evaluation of antennas & RF systems for automotive radar systems. * Translate antenna specifications into real design. Predict performance with simulation and verify with real-world data. * Interface with multi-disciplinary product development team in support of design, integration and test (including radar system, microwave, electrical, mechanical and software design engineers) * Develop antenna concepts, identify the best approach, optimize the design using simulation tools (HFSS for example), fabricate the hardware through outsourcing, test antennas for S parameters and patterns. * Prepare design documentation, create test plans and test reports. Present design concepts, antenna performance, trade off studies to team members, management and customers Your background: * Master degree with 3+ years of experience or Ph.D. degree in engineering, mathematics, or other technical field * 5+ years of design experience in mm wave antennas, specially waveguide/SIW antennas * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Computer based simulation or analysis * HFSS, CST (or equivalent) proficiency *Local residency in the Agora Hills, CA area or open to relocation to this area for work on site (Relocation assistance available). * Graduate-level coursework and/or hand-on project experience in antennas * Excellent communications skills * Strong documentation skills * Team player, highly motivated, flexible, and well organized Why join us?
