WHAT TO EXPECT

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Poplar Bluff, MO (Refurb Center), you will be Materials Resource Planner.

The Planner has responsibility for production planning and to meet service level and inventory goals. The Planner will also be responsible for maintaining planning data in ERP system(s) and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, as well as completing certain ad hoc requests as required by Management.

Key responsibilities (to name a few):

  • Evaluate and communicate changes that impact the Supply Chain group.
  • Perform root cause analysis to address service level or inventory variances from management plan and initiate and monitor corrective actions
  • Resolve issues with schedule adherence and supplier on time delivery by engaging appropriate internal departments.
  • Develop tools and monitor performance trends to ensure on-time delivery of material flow through external and internal processes.
  • Monitor material input/output and WIP based on demand to control and improve inventory levels through Lean initiatives.
  • Maintain planning and other required information for assigned items in ERP systems
  • Utilize multiple Gates' resources and systems to conduct data analysis
  • Place and administer work order requirements using Oracle Systems.
  • Controls the inventory of assigned products in accordance with management objectives.
  • Expedites requirements as needed.

ABOUT YOU

    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent of 5+ years of relevant experience
    • 1 year of Buyer/Planner experience
    • Knowledge and understanding of Planning, Purchasing, Inventory and Order Management experience
    • Must possess strong conflict management skills
    • Prior experience in a high SKU count environment, preferred
    • Highly analytical with a strong excel knowledge and ability
    • Proven attention to detail and accuracy
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and proven ability to facilitate collaboration in cross regional and multi-cultural teams.
    • Builds collaborative relationships and shares knowledge, experience and expertise with team members.
    • Works well under pressure, effectively handles conflict and demonstrates flexibility in work style to accommodate changing priorities and fixed deadlines.
    • Self-motivated, capable of seeking quality solutions and continuously focusing on process improvements, while keeping the needs of the business in the forefront.
