Summary

The Senior Inventory Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing data and providing insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to apply purchasing and inventory principles and clearly articulate cause and effect to various stakeholders.

Essential Functions

  • PO Requisition: Execute purchasing of direct materials in alignment with company strategy.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to enhance data-driven decision-making processes and conduct in-depth analysis of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive improved business performance.
  • Inventory Governance: Provide inventory governance through creation, development and monitoring of process and procedure adherence.
  • Inventory Health: Collaborate with SIOP to develop strategies to achieving optimal inventory health by limiting stock outages, excess inventory, and aching best in class fill rates.
  • Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations and adjust MRP parameters to achieve improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for optimization and lead initiatives to enhance key inventory metrics.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards for management and key stakeholders
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and solutions based on analytical findings
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Purchasing.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Inventory management, statistical analysis, and modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power Bi, Python).

Communication

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
