The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University's main campus located in Manchester, NH is looking for an Event Coverage Worker to oversee our scoreboard operations during the basketball season. This is an onsite position on an as-needed basis. This is a seasonal, part time, floating position, based on the SNHU Men's and Women's home game schedule, their ability to host home Northeast 10 Conference Tournament games, and NCAA Regional Games. You will report to the Associate Athletic Director.

What you'll do:

• Lead our table crew in the management of all game operations associated with running the scoreboard.

• Manage the main game clock controls and input the score, fouls, and side panels for active rosters, points, and foul situations.

• Complete the inputting of all team rosters and our main scoreboard functions for each program.

• Run the game scoreboard with complete accuracy in a face paced atmosphere.

• Work nights and weekends throughout the basketball season - October through March.

• Communicate with the table staff (shot clock operator, assistant), sport information staff, and official book staff.

What we're looking for:

• Must be familiar with game clock functions, especially Daktronics scoreboard controls.

• Knowledge of NCAA Division II Women's and Men's Basketball rules is necessary.
