Product Engineering Intern - Summer 2025

The Role:
Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a/an Product Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration.
The New Product Development group is looking for a motivated and team-oriented individual to join our dynamic and collaborative group focused on product development for our reticle handling products as an engineering summer intern. The core purpose of this role is to support the engineering team with testing and characterizing prototype samples, minor design work, researching new technologies, manufacturing method development, etc.
This position reports to the Sr Engineering Manager and receives work instruction from all engineers within the group.

What You'll Do:
* Performing engineering experiments, documenting, analyzing, and reporting results
* Assembling/designing test/manufacturing fixtures
* Participating in brainstorming meetings
* Researching new technologies

What We Seek:
* Student pursuing a BS degree in the Engineering field, including Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Plastic Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related fields
* Would consider students enrolled in a graduate program

Eligibility:

* Must be a currently enrolled student
* Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May or June through mid-August or September
* Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in an internship program
* Entegris is not currently hiring candidates for internships who will need, now or at any time in the future, Entegris sponsorship through the H1-B lottery

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
* Hands-on skills
* Attention to detail, good record keeper, neat
* Self-starter, takes on additional tasks w/o direction, and completes tasks with minimum supervision once trained
* Good writing and presentation skills
* Experience with MS Office
* Good problem solving skills

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
* Student pursuing a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Plastic Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related fields
* Would consider students enrolled in a graduate program
