Barnes Molding Solutions-Americas is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join its sales team and DRIVE and CAPTURE PROFITABLE GROWTH across North America. We are looking to rapidly grow and scale Molding Solutions across the Americas region leveraging its proven technology and total solutions platform to meet the needs of customers. We are looking for a strong sales leader with demonstrated track record in developing and executing a comprehensive sales campaign targeted to improve and expand our branded line of products, services, and solutions into multiple sales channels across the Americas. As a key member of the regional management team, this role will help formulate the strategic plan with clear growth levers that deliver Top Line sales and increase market share in support of achieving the business's short-and long-term performance objectives. Core Responsibilities:



  • Prepares and updates sales forecasts covering projected new-business sales, bookings, proposal activity and investment requirements by customer and/or program. Works with cross functional teams to initiate and direct new business proposal efforts and new programs. Provides appropriate weekly and monthly internal reports to management regarding forecast and actual orders & sales.
  • Ensures customer relationships are effectively developed and managed to achieve the business's growth and profitability objectives. Understand and ensure customer specific requirements are met.
  • Develops marketing plans, sales strategies, and action plans to identify and land targets of opportunity. Plans and directs sales activity for assigned markets to meet business commitments.
  • Recruits, trains, coaches, and develops a high-performance sales team to drive sales and market growth.
  • Collaborates with the marketing team to support business in achieving business sales objectives aligned to strategy, including specific market segments - new and existing.
  • Coordinates with functional support resources to build a team approach aimed at meeting sales objectives - delivering quality products, services, and solutions, on time to ensure top quartile customer satisfaction.
  • Develops key client relationships individually to sell the full complement of products and services of Molding Solutions, to meet overall market sales and profitability objectives.
  • Negotiates the best value for products and services sold in accordance with policies and objectives.
  • Covers unassigned sales territories within his geographical area of responsibility, visiting and managing the local customer base to identify and close sales opportunities.
  • Performs duties as assigned by management in accordance with the Company Values and Code of Ethics.



Qualifications:



  • 5 to 7+ years of hands-on consultative and technical sales expertise in the Injection Molding Industry and with customized products and solutions.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal procedures, instructions, and inquiries from customers.
  • Ability to understand product and design, drawings, and specifications to effectively convey knowledge to customers.
  • Strong analytical skills. The ability to make recommendations based on data analysis. Strong PC aptitude in a Windows environment required. Ability to learn other software packages and maintain an awareness of technology advancements. Experience with Sales Force CRM Software.
  • Ability to interpret customers concept and make appropriate application suggestions.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time to customers, suppliers, and other locations.



Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree required - preferably in sales management or related discipline.
* MS or MBA desirable.
