Job Summary:
The Communicable Disease Division (CDD) of the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene (WSLH) is seeking an Epic Applications Analyst to support Epic Systems Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP). The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, configuring, testing, and implementing change to the Epic Systems Beaker system for the laboratory. They will provide end user application support and respond timely to inquiries and requests, with a strong focus on usability, process improvement, and system optimization for enhanced user experience. They will work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners inside and outside of the CDD. This position is on-site at 2601 Agriculture Dr, Madison, WI 53718. Work hours are 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Occasional after hours, weekend or holiday work may be required in support of urgent or emergent public health needs of the organization. Remote work may be considered at the discretion of the hiring manager. Responsibilities: Assists with research and design of usable and accessible systems, services, and content to support user needs, meet project goals, and advance institutional priorities. Assists in training and outreach efforts to advance the institutional capacity for user-centered practices.
