This position will remain open until filled. JOB SUMMARY: This position assists the department with essential functions such as traffic counts, and traffic studies, along with bicycle, pedestrian, and transit-related work. This position also has the responsibility of educating the community on bicycle and pedestrian safety and promoting and evaluating the bikeways for maintenance and repairs. The position is for the summer months from the middle of May through the middle of August and is based on a 35-hour work week that consists of Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Flexibility in the scheduling is required to account for staffing at other various events over the summer including occasional weekend and evening events. JOB DUTIES: QUALIFICATIONS: PAY RATE: $29.96 per hour based on a 35-hour workweek.
