Henry Ford Health is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Athletic Trainer to support our student athletes at Jackson Public Schools. About Jackson High School:

Jackson Public Schools, located in Jackson, Michigan, is a MHSAA Class A school, JHS competes in the Southeastern Conference-White Division. JHS Vikings has 23 interscholastic sports teams and has approximately 1,050 students. The athletic trainer's primary responsibilities will be at Parkside Middle School where the home varsity fields for Soccer, Softball and Tennis are located, middle school coverage will also be included in this position. This position will work with the athletic trainer located at the high school where they will work as a team and share responsibilities for all athletes. The athletic trainer will effectively communicate with HFH sports medicine staff and the team physician to coordinate medical care for the JHS Athletics community.

What You'll Do:

• Work with another athletic trainer to provide athletic training services to athletes at Jackson High School and Middle School at Parkside.
• Be the liaison between Henry Ford Health and Jackson Schools to help coordinate various appointments within the health system.
• Collaborate with assigned Henry Ford Health team physician and various healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
• Play a hands-on role in helping athletes reach their peak performance by delivering individualized care for both injuries and overall wellness.
• Educate on best practices for maintaining health and promote long-term wellness.
• Expand your skills by offering services beyond the school, including assisting in physician clinics, community outreach, and engagement events.
