Salary: $85,000 per year Shift: Hybrid 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Office days Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday As the Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing machined, fabricated goods, and welded assemblies. This role requires expertise in manufacturing processes, materials used in machining and welding, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely acquisition of high-quality parts while maintaining cost efficiency and adhering to production schedules. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or project management, preferably within a manufacturing, welding, or fabrication environment. In-depth knowledge of purchasing practices, materials, and products, specifically in machining, welding, and fabrication. Strong understanding of materials used in welding, machining, and fabrication (e.g., steel, aluminum, alloys, welding rods, cutting tools). Familiarity with welding, machining, and fabrication processes. Expertise in supply chain management, vendor negotiations, and inventory management. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
