I. DEPARTMENT INFORMATION


Job Description Summary:
The Temporary Data Services Specialist will:

  • Support GWLAI's data-related initiatives and services, working with researchers and students to assist with basic data needs.
  • Collaborate with library staff and campus partners to promote data resources and services.
  • Support Instructional needs
  • Contribute to data consultations and workshops
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.


Additional Required Licenses/Certifications/Posting Specific Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated interest or experience in supporting researchers and learners in business/economics and science is desired.
  • Demonstrated interest in or experience with GIS preferred.
