Principal Salesforce Architect - (REMOTE)

Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Senior-Level (12+ years of experience)

We are seeking an experienced Principal Salesforce Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of Salesforce-based solutions including Health Cloud. This role requires an expert in Salesforce development and system integration, with a track record of delivering scalable, high-performance applications. You will guide developers and administrators, collaborate with stakeholders, and take ownership of projects.

Key Responsibilities



  • Salesforce Architecture: Architect and direct the development of Myriads Salesforce instance using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Aura.
  • Integration Leadership: Design and implement complex system integrations using middleware tools (e.g., Jitterbit, MuleSoft, Informatica) and Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Platform Optimization: Oversee the optimization of Salesforce Health Cloud configurations, ensuring adherence to best practices in security, scalability, and performance.
  • Team Mentorship: Provide technical vision, guidance, and mentorship to team members, reviewing architectural designs to ensure quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Partner with enterprise architecture, analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Multi-Platform Expertise: Apply knowledge of additional software development frameworks to enhance Salesforce integration and customization.
  • Order Management Expertise:

    • Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce-based unified order management systems, integrating customer lifecycle, sales, and fulfillment processes.
    • Ensure seamless interoperability between Salesforce Health Cloud and order management platforms.

  • Data Governance and Security:

    • Implement robust data governance practices and ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., HIPAA for healthcare data).
    • Define and enforce data security protocols within the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Scalability and Performance Optimization: Architect solutions that scale effectively for Myriad's growing operations while maintaining system performance under high-load conditions.


End-to-End Delivery Ownership: Oversee the full lifecycle of Salesforce implementations, from ideation to deployment and post-implementation support.

Required Qualifications



  • Technical Expertise:

    • Advanced experience with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Aura, SOQL, and SOSL.
    • Proficiency with middleware tools for complex integrations.
    • Strong knowledge of various integration protocol and optimizing Salesforce performance
    • Deep understanding of Salesforce Sales and Health Cloud applications and best practices.
    • Extensive experience with Salesforce platform configuration and administration.

  • Certifications:

    • Salesforce Certificates: Application Architect, System Architect, Technical Architect, Platform Developer II.

  • Experience:

    • 12+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and architecture experience, including enterprise-scale implementations.
    • Proven ability to deliver complex solutions and lead technical projects.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
    • Team-oriented mindset and experience in mentoring developers.

  • Platform Specializations:

    • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and Field Service Management.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud) for external stakeholder engagement.

  • Integration Ecosystem:

    • Experience with Snowflake, AWS, or other cloud services to support data integration and advanced analytics.
    • Familiarity with APIs supporting large-scale data processing and integration.

  • DevOps & Automation: Proficiency in Salesforce DevOps practices using tools like Gearset, Copado, or Flosum. Experience in CI/CD pipeline setup for Salesforce deployments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to bridge the gap between business operations (e.g., sales, service, IT) and technology to define unified workflows and systems.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Healthcare Experience: Knowledge of healthcare industry processes and Salesforce healthcare-specific solutions is a plus.
  • Middleware Expertise: Advanced experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi.


Additional Preferred Qualifications




Industry-Specific Knowledge:

Prior experience in implementing Salesforce solutions for precision medicine, diagnostics, or biotech companies.

Change Management & Training:

Expertise in leading change management initiatives to improve user adoption and training across diverse teams.

Emerging Tech Integration:

Experience in integrating AI/ML tools (e.g., Einstein Analytics) within Salesforce to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
