Overview

Credence is seeking a IT Analyst/Specialist to join Credence team on FedMall/STORES program. This position will provide an opportunity to work with an experienced team of Software Engineers, Requirement Analysts, Project Managers, Solutions Architects, and Cybersecurity professionals. The candidate will have the opportunity to grow their career in the software development and engineering space by honing their skillset. This position is based in Credence's corporate offices located in Tyson's Corner in McLean, VA.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

    Learn about program mission objectives and processes to achive those objectives
  • Learn and understand the architectures of program applications and systems
  • Participate in software development planning and engineering activities
  • Perform implementations of plans assigned, such as, system builds, test plans, documentation, and training
  • Implement, document and deploy data security projects, Change Management, ongoing maintenance activities, and software engineering support
  • Execute tasks based on service requests and document changes
  • Coordinate a wide range of system administration duties on application and database including engineering, installation, break/fix troubleshooting, data protection and optimization
  • Gather requirements from end-users of FedMall/STORES and convert them in to programmable user-stories
  • Provide helpdesk support to FedMall/STORES end-users
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and a minimum of 5 years related technical work experience
  • Ability to work and produce results in an Agile and fast-paced environment with dynamic deadlines
  • Familiarity with basic cloud concepts

Nice to Have:

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate Level Certification
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Existing DoD Public Trust

Security Clearance:

  • Must be clearable for DoD Public Trust or higher

Additional Information/Instructions for the Recruiting Team:

Preferred Requirements

  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience working within the Federal government and/or DoD
  • DOD 8570 Level II certification (SANS certifications, CISSP, Security+)
  • Familiarity with incident response products and best practices
