The IT Business Analyst position will report to the Manager of Business Systems in Stanley Consultants' Technology Services group. The IT Business Analyst will collaborate closely with operational business leaders, Technology Services management team, and other members of the Information Technology team to gather, document, and translate business requests into actionable technical requirements to be implemented by the Technology Services team. The Business Analyst will become a subject matter expert (SME) in Stanley Consultants' business acumen, processes, development tools and data as necessary to act as a liaison between the business and the Technology Services group team. This position will play a pivotal role in expanding the Technology Services Group's capabilities and capacity through development and implementation of repeatable requirements gathering processes while working closely with the Technology Services management team to review, prioritize, and maintain proper documentation and reports regarding active business requests. The ideal candidate will have a love for business analysis, a background in requirements gathering and user story creation, with a strong desire to learn the engineering consulting business Stanley operates and an advocate for a small but growing development team. Stanley's Approach to Flexibility While some members choose to work out of their local office on a full-time basis, we offer a hybrid schedule for eligible positions consisting of two days a week in the office, two days a week remotely, and Friday being a flexible day that can be worked either in the office or at home.
