Job Summary |
The College of Liberal Arts, Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences division is looking for a
TES Administrative Support Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing front office support for the Auburn University Speech & Hearing Clinic, as well as performs general clerical duties, and serves as a point of contact for clinic clientele.
Temporary Employment Services (
TES), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university.
TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being:
- Assistance in the place of a regular employee who is absent for a specified period of time
- Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads
- Assistance with special projects
- Seasonal work
- Emergencies

Essential Functions |
Office support including multi-line telephone answering, maintaining calendars and schedules, mail distribution, preparing and processing paperwork, record keeping and data entry, file management, correspondence, and payment processing. |
Minimum Qualifications |
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in an administrative support or related role
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication ability
- Typing ability

- Previous experience in medical office setting
- Familiar with HIPAA standards
