The Consulting Senior Manager - Project Management position is responsible for oversight and execution of large, multi-faceted client projects and/or multiple client projects simultaneously. The position will drive business development by prospecting, acquiring and developing new and incremental business with clients and prospects. The position will maintain an extensive knowledge of the Firm's service lines and offerings as well as current market trends, conditions and penetration of services and solutions. The position will drive the development and growth of the Project Management Advisory service offering through development and implementation of strategic initiatives and comprehensive team mentorship as well and individual team member mentorship and professional guidance.

What Work You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Performs comprehensive assessments of client needs and develops client delivery strategy to address the needs while driving profitability. Promote the longevity of the client relationship through quality delivery, innovative solutions, and singular business insights.

  • Works with other leadership to define project scope and deliver a detailed plan for a successful outcome based on project objectives. Estimates effort and resources required for responsibilities and ensures all are prioritized effectively and delivered on time.

  • Leads and directs the management of projects and multi-disciplinary tasks within scope of client projects or programs and with limited guidance from Firm leadership.

  • Directs the client engagement team to ensure successful delivery of all phases of a client program or project, including strategic planning, work planning, mobilization, execution, and closeout to meet the scope, schedule, budget and other contract requirements.

  • Drives collaboration with external agencies and other stakeholders as needed to enable effective collaboration in the part of the client engagement team. Provides leadership and ensures technical and management collaboration amongst engagement team members and the client.

  • Facilitate client process improvements to identify people, process and technology improvements to be made enhance team and project performance.

  • Leverage client technology to deliver and, at times, improve on project delivery status, risks, and metrics.

  • Ensures that the scope of work is completed to the satisfaction of the client and key stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that quality, financial, risk management, business and policy expectations are met.

  • Serves as one of the firm's primary contacts with the client.

  • Communicates and works with the client on a variety of issues potentially including progress and status, scope, schedule and budget, engagement team feedback, as well as progress of deliverables, client reviews, technical input, and comment resolution.

  • Reports to EisnerAmper Advisory leadership (Partners, Directors, Managing Directors) regarding status of client engagements, including all risks, issues, and opportunities and proactively identifies solutions to address them.

  • Prepares deliverables/reports for review by the Director/Partner that include any noted issues, trends and other micro/macro level risks identified through the execution of projects activities.

  • Exhibits excellent client service skills including the identification of opportunities to provide additional services to clients and/or non-clients.

  • Owns and drives business development activities including client relationship development and maintenance, program-specific positioning strategy, designing strategic teaming arrangements with other client vendors, advocating for the client engagement team in client settings, proposal development and submission, development and delivery of prospect presentations, and driving contract negotiations consistent with established business development processes.

  • Builds and maintains a growth pipeline, gathers and takes action on referrals, and proactively seeks out and maintains extensive knowledge on the firm's service lines and offerings. Maintains knowledge of and develops upon market conditions and penetration of services and solutions.

  • Ensures compliance with applicable policies and procedures,laws and regulations, and keeps current on compliance-related areas.

  • Ongoing mentoring of both client engagement team(s) and Project Management Advisory team, performing assessment and completion of performance appraisals, promotion recommendations, and professional development.

  • Builds and maintains trusted relationships with diverse group of clients, team members, managers, and subject matter experts.

  • Identifies opportunities and recommends methods to improve service, work processes and financial performance (e.g., procedure optimization). Assists in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives on the part of both clients and Project Management Advisory service line.

  • Identify and act on growth and expansion opportunities for the Advisory Project Management service line, including markets, industries, competencies, or professional development gaps.

  • May participate in Firm recruiting activities.

  • Complies with all professional and Firm requirements (e.g., employee handbook requirements, time entry procedures, audit quality control document requirements, etc.) including complying with confidentiality requirements (e.g. client information, proposal information, personnel information, job-related information, etc.).

  • Attends and actively engages in training sessions and/or meetings as required.

  • Maintains the required CPE for firm and licensing standards.

  • May be required to work extended hours during the workweek and weekends, as needed.

  • May be required to travel and work from different company and client locations.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required; Business or Management specialization preferred.

  • Master's degree is preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience working in project management, consulting, advisory services, or a related field, either in professional services or combination professional service organization/industry.

  • 5+ years in a management or supervisory role.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading large program, portfolio, and/or multi-project preferred.

  • Able to lead, build, and manage effective teams for small, medium, and large-scale projects.

  • Relevant certifications preferred are: Project Management Institute's (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Advanced Project Manager Certification (APMC), Certified Change Management Processional (CCMP), Prosci credentials, Lean Six Sigma credentials

  • Significant experience with one or more project management platforms, such as Jira, Monday.com, Planview, ProjectPlace, etc.

  • Able to effectively manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities appropriately in an evolving work environment with shifting time frames.

  • Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, innovative, and continuously changing environment.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in business and technical environments and within a diverse group of individuals.

  • Possess a high degree of professionalism including the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality.

  • Technically proficient with the capability of performing at an intermediate or advanced level with respect to the Microsoft Office Suite of products, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
