Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a burgeoning expert on RF Circuit Design, you would be designing solutions for Space Satellite Systems using simulation tools and a specialized lab setups to realize exceptional RF performance specifications, within the challenging physical constraints and environmental conditions of launch and space. You will work closely with Mechanical Engineers on accommodating device thermals, Manufacturing on process capabilities, and Supply Chain to mitigate any sourcing choke-points. A comprehensive collection of simulations and lab measurements validates the electrical and thermal integrity of the design. Then for Space, the design using radiation suitable components is subjected to a battery of Space Qualification testing and analysis: incl. parts screening, design-margin analysis, derating, thermal test, vacuum test, vibration test, and material analysis, ensuring operational integrity on launch and in space.
