Responsibilities
As a Hospitalist at Centinela Hospital Medical Center, you will: * Provide comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse patient population, including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing staff, specialists, and case managers, to ensure optimal patient outcomes. * Manage acute medical conditions, oversee continuity of care, and coordinate transitions of care. * Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver cost-effective, patient-centered care. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and procedures. * Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, demonstrating empathy and cultural sensitivity.
Qualifications
* Medical Degree (MD or DO) with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. * Valid California medical license or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date. * Commitment to excellence in patient care and teamwork. * Strong organizational, clinical, and communication skills.
