Overview
Southern Cancer Center is seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to join our team at the Springhill Hospital location. In this vital role, you will oversee all nursing functions and patient care activities, ensuring they are conducted within budgetary constraints. You will be responsible for adhering to both national and company standards, as well as specialty regulations, while supervising a team of nursing professionals who deliver exceptional care to our patients. A comprehensive approach to care that includes recognizing the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of our patients is essential. Additionally, you will uphold and support the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Qualifications Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): Education/Training - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current CPR certification required. Business Experience - Minimum five years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least three years oncology experience. One-year leadership experience preferred Specialized Knowledge/Skills - Oncology certification preferred Chemotherapy Immunotherapy provider card preferred Working Conditions: Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.) - Traditional office environment.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
