While reporting to the Plant Manager as the Plant Quality Manager (PQM), you will be responsible for providing leadership to the plant in the area of maintaining and improving the quality systems as prescribed by the Plant & Corporation. Duties include management of change control, data collection schemes, test methods & equipment, standard instructions, audits, manuals, and other routine quality systems areas. The PQM I also must direct the activities of hourly quality staff when applicable. Other duties include training plant personnel in quality processes; facilitating improvement teams; managing compliance to specifications; and acting as product safety team leader, if applicable. In addition, Plant Quality Managers must serve as the point of contact with customers for product or service quality. What you'll be doing:
