The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a student employee for our campus location to assist SETA Annex Construction Management Lab with ongoing projects and lab activities. They will work with the Assistant Dean of SETA and the Office Manager to support the Construction Management Department Chair and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the setup and preparation for construction lab activities.
  • Manage administrative scheduling and coordinate appointments or meetings.
  • Organize and maintain program files and documents for easy access and retrieval.
  • Facilitate communication between the Construction Management department, other departments, and external industry partners.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Department Chair and the Construction Management Program.
  • Attend to departmental needs and tasks as directed by the Department Chair.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
  • Work study part of financial aid package
  • Students with work study may be prioritized

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in the Construction Management Program (preferred, but not required).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with faculty, staff, and external partners.

Additional Details:

  • Expected workload: Approx. 10 hours per week during the semester.
  • 5+ hours per week to be completed on-site at the Annex Building.
  • Flexibility to complete remaining hours remotely.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
