This version of the job should only be used for employees below the government-mandated, minimum FLSA pay threshold. All other employees should be placed in the salaried version of this role. Serves as a member of the spiritual care service team and providing spiritual and religious care to patients, family and staff members in areas assigned in cooperation with the spiritual care coordinator. May participate in Hospital and Department committees and contributes to professional pastoral training for staff, community clergy and seminary students at the direction of the spiritual care coordinator. May be available and responsible to provide and coordinate pastoral services during the non-business hours (after 5PM weekdays, weekends and holidays) of the hospital. Is accessible by pager for assigned periods of time and will respond as needed to the requests for pastoral services. Is responsible for documenting their work in hospital records and reporting their activities through statistical reports that are provided to the Chaplain Coordinator. What you will do
