Job Summary:

U.S. Electrical Services Inc. is searching for a Warehouse Team Lead to oversee the warehouse team in our Middletown, CT distribution center. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager and be responsible for the following:

• Oversee the picking and packing of all orders, as well as the loading of all delivery trucks at the Central Distribution Center and manifesting all delivery routes.
• Protect Company assets from theft and damage.
• Assist supervisors with implementation and enforcement of Central Distribution Center policies and procedures.
• Train and continuously develop new and existing employees.
• Support Central Distribution Center's team to maximize customer service and accuracy while seeking improvements on operational efficiency.
• Report and document equipment failures or unsafe working conditions to management team.
• Other general warehouse duties to be assigned.
• Assist Manager in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Required Skills:

• Experience with picking and receiving.
• Previous experience with warehouse equipment, including driving a forklift.
• 2+ years of prior experience in a warehouse leadership position.
• Strong product knowledge and work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve problems.
• Must have strong sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
• Must be able to multi-task and perform in a fast paced, competitive environment.
• Must possess leadership qualities and be able to manage and resolve conflict.
