The Manager/Payments supports the VP/Payments by managing the Card and Payments Operations areas to ensure the timely completion of card and payments processing, while ensuring all regulatory standards are being met. The Manager/Payments provides direction and leadership in all aspects of daily operations of payment services, including but not limited to: card processing, troubleshooting, and reporting, ACH, wires, checks, ATM and RTP/Faster Payment rail processing.

This position has a starting annual rate of $73,400, but your offer amount may be increased with relevant work experience and transferrable skills.

A Day in the life of a Manager/Payments can look like:

  1. Oversee the daily operations of the Card and Payment Operations areas.
  2. Lead and develop direct reports by setting objectives and establishing goals that positively impact the organization.
  3. Conduct weekly and monthly status meetings with each team member, ensuring they are up-to-date on all policy and procedure changes.
  4. Develop policies, procedures, and standards for Card and Payment Operations. Conduct periodic reviews of existing policies and procedures to ensure that they are effective and current. Share findings with leadership to enhance ongoing training.
  5. Assist leadership with managing vendor relationships to drive forward expectations of superior member service, product/solution effectiveness, risk mitigation strategies, and quality interactions with our membership.

What you bring to the table:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. 4-6 years of leadership experience.
  3. 5 years of financial institution experience.
  4. Proficiency using Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  5. Strong ability to analyze opportunities and problems and recommend solutions.
  6. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  7. Proficiency using Excel and Word.

  1. Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (strongly preferred).
