Product Delivery Technician- 2nd Shift

Reporting To:

Coordinator Sr., Operations

Work Schedule:

Onsite - Buffalo, NY

Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for a Product Delivery Technician to join them. You will report to the Senior Operations Coordinator and will have an onsite, 2nd shift work schedule in East Aurora, New York.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • At least 5 years of relevant Electronics experience.

As a Product Delivery Technician, you will:

  • Perform various precision and complex Electronics assembly, including Surface Mount Technology (SMT), test, inspection and troubleshooting functions in support of product delivery requirements.
  • Perform complex support and special processes within and outside of the Electronics A&T functional department.
  • Work from assembly drawings, manufacturing outlines, worksheets, parts lists and other instructions.
  • Maintain process certification per company specifications and maintain traceability of all hardware and materials.
  • Work with Engineering to diagnose common test failures and recommend or perform rework to correct discrepancies while maintaining the integrity of the unit. With complex problems, use fault isolation, analysis and definition of corrective rework, including necessary workarounds required to maintain schedule commitments.
  • Proactively participates, supports, and provides guidance in a team-based environment.
  • Understand and perform individual, team and departmental administrative responsibilities and address non-conformances.
  • Coordinate team resources to accomplish delivery schedule priorities and commitments.
  • May be asked to assist in training of Operators.
  • Takes ownership for team delivery performance.
  • Initiate and process evaluation data.
  • Initiate, lead, and participate in process improvements within Electronics A&T.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $32.00-$40.00 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
