Overview ABOUT THE POSITION VHB's growing Cloud Operations team is seeking an IT Automation and Systems Administrator to join our team. You will be joining a team of highly skilled IT professionals supporting a growing list of applications and internal initiatives. The position plays a critical role in streamlining and enhancing the efficiency of applications and systems through automation, aiming to reduce manual intervention, minimize errors, and increase productivity across various processes. This role requires strong expertise in PowerShell for developing robust scripts, managing systems, and automating tasks. The candidate must be proficient in PowerShell for effective system administration within Windows environments, including user management, software deployment, and configuration settings. Additionally, expertise in Python is essential for handling a wide range of automation tasks, such as data processing, integrating with APIs, and managing complex workflows. A key strength required for this position is the ability to implement and manage a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) enterprise logging system. The candidate must have experience in setting up comprehensive logging frameworks that collect, centralize, and analyze log data from different applications and systems. Their expertise will ensure the organization can proactively monitor system health, detect and respond to incidents, and gain valuable insights from log data. In summary, the successful candidate will leverage their expertise in PowerShell and Python to automate and optimize operations while managing an enterprise logging system to enhance monitoring and analysis.
