Advantage Resourcing is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a fantastic opportunity in Broussard, LA. Pay: $20-21/hr Shift: First Shift As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your responsibilities will include: Handling all incoming mail and emails to the AP inbox, including distribution and quick review Auditing and authorizing all invoices processed by the AP team for accuracy, compliance, and payment eligibility Managing open transactions in preparation for month-end close Researching and resolving issues or concerns from vendors and internal parties Maintaining a thorough understanding of vendors, processes, projects, and ongoing issues within the AP department to relay information accurately to both internal and external parties Reconciling vendor statements and accounts, identifying errors, and working with invoice processors to correct discrepancies Reconciliation of AP credit cards in Credit Card Management Providing support to the Accounts Payable Manager Performing other related accounting and clerical duties as needed Experience: 3-5 years in accounts payable or related field We offer great benefits to show our appreciation for your hard work: Weekly pay via direct deposit or pay card Employee discounts and referral bonus opportunities A dedicated local team to support your success Medical, dental, vision, and 401K options Interested in this opportunity?
