Overview

Our growing company is seeking to hire 2nd shift - MIG Welders.

Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.

**Pay commensurate with experience**

**$1.50 p/hr. 2nd shift premium**

**Sign-on Bonus $1,000**

**Paid Time Off upon hire, Benefits after 30 days**

**Work schedule: 4 - 10hr. days, Mon. through Thurs. -

(2pm to 12/midnight)

**Overtime on Fri./Sat. (as needed)**



Responsibilities

  • Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
  • Maintains welding equipment
  • Performs finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
  • Sets fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) as required
  • Knowledge of wire, filler materials and gases applicable for various steel alloys


Qualifications

Required Experience

  • High School diploma or GED, prefer a Weld Vocational Tech certification
  • One year work experience in various forms of welding, preferably in a production environment
  • Proficient in MIG welding techniques
  • Knowledge of wire and filler materials and gases application for various alloys, working knowledge of fixturer and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)
  • Successful completion of an internal welding test, and the ability to achieve certification to customer requirements as applicable
  • Ability to read blueprints, especially weld requirement symbols
  • Eligible to work in the United States
