Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our operating systems, software applications and hardware. The role involves ensuring our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, with a focus on security and performance.

Key Responsibilities



  1. System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and system management tools.
  2. Patch Management: Regularly apply patches and updates to ensure systems are secure and up-to-date.
  3. Software Version Management: Manage software versions and updates, ensuring compatibility and stability.
  4. Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  5. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  6. Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.
  7. User Support: Provide technical support and training to end-users.
  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.



Technical Skills



  1. Proficiency with Windows Desktop and Server OS required. Proficiency with Linux and Mac OS a plus.
  2. Knowledge of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  3. Experience with PowerShell scripting, terraform, Intune, Microsoft Configuration Manager, and Virtualized user environments.



Soft Skills



  1. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  3. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.



Preferred Qualifications



  1. Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar.
  2. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  3. Knowledge or experience working with banking, lending, or financial services software systems desired.
  4. Ability to work efficiently in a team environment as well as excellent time management and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and time constraints, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Initiative and strong sense of ownership.
  7. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
  8. You must be authorized for permanent work in the U.S.
