What You Will Do

Join the exciting growth at Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) with a career in Product Marketing! Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is the driving force behind getting products to market and keeping them there. At the same time, product marketers are masterminds of messaging, enablers of sales, catalysts for demand generation, thought leaders in the market, partners of product management, and accelerators of growth.

By listening to our markets (e.g., buyer persona visits, market research, win/loss analysis, and customer feedback), the PMM will use the intelligence they gain to optimally position, package, price, promote, and enable our sales/partner channels to deliver revenue objectives and accelerate sales cycles. They will help develop and execute a marketing plan to drive demand and maximize customer acquisition and retention.

  • Deliver buyer persona profiles, positioning, messaging, unique value propositions, and industry trends through quantitative and qualitative market research.

  • Enable sales and partner organizations to use effective sales tools.

  • Enable the marketing team to use compelling messaging and campaign support to grow the pipeline and retain customers.

  • Serve as an industry thought leader and product expert in the marketplace by speaking at conferences, authoring content, and demonstrating Trimble technology.

  • Be an expert on the customer buying process and technology adoption journey.

  • Work closely with product management to align messaging, positioning, and value propositions for new enhancements and releases.

  • Work with product management to influence and prioritize roadmap and solution development, such as additional features or new product development that drive greater customer value.

  • Support sales in high-priority business development efforts, including proposal support for securing lighthouse accounts that build markets.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • BS/BA degree in marketing or an industry field such as civil engineering, construction management, or asset management.

  • 5+ years experience in the B2B SaaS software market, preferably in Product Marketing.

  • Self-starter, tech-savvy, and thrives in cross-functional teams.

  • Impeccable interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills.

  • A working understanding of the Architecture | Engineering | Construction | Owner (AECO) market and/or demonstrable experience becoming an expert in a new market segment.

  • Experience and/or certification with Product Marketing Alliance, Pragmatic Marketing, Silicon Valley Product Group, or other product management and product marketing frameworks are a plus.

What Skills & Experience You Could Bring

  • A working understanding of the Architecture | Engineering | Construction | Owner (AECO) market and/or demonstrable experience becoming an expert in a new market segment.

  • Experience and/or certification with Product Marketing Alliance, Pragmatic Marketing, Silicon Valley Product Group, or other product management and product marketing frameworks are a plus.

About Your Location

Under a flexible work arrangement (hybrid), this resource primarily supports the O&PS Sector and works collaboratively across the Product Management, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams.

In a hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule for your time worked in the office based on the position and the business need. Typically hybrid positions are 1-3 days per week, or 20%-60% of the month in the office.

The O&PS organization is creating a unique player in the industry by connecting and scaling up a number of targeted acquisitions over the last several years. The organization is North America focused.
