Your Role

OUTFRONT Media is seeking a safety focused, organized, and results-driven Transit Operations Director to oversee a team of sub-contracted installers responsible for executing advertising campaigns on the LA transit media assets across the Los Angeles metropolitan area. This would encompass several different transit authorities. This person will need to be an excellent and collaborative communicator that will work cross functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues for a safe and smooth execution of campaign installations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Direct all operations of the Transit Operations Department and distribute daily work assignments to employees
  • Promote a high degree of safety standards and awareness of such
  • Work closely with Safety Director and participate in monthly Safety Meetings forOperations
  • Interact with Marketing, Charting, Account Executives and Sales Assistants in the day-to-day activities to ensure a successful outcome to client needs
  • Monitor field performance by field inspections of the transit inventory for quality performance of installation crews
  • Maintain positive working relations with sub-contractors and become familiar with their day-to-day workflow, including conducting regular status meetings between sub-contractor and Outfront Media
  • Communicate with and maintain positive working relations with applicable transit authority representatives
  • Report to both the EVP of Operations and Senior Director of Transit
  • Complete weekly posting & delivery reporting
  • Conduct monthly meetings with transit authorities
  • Monitor fleet sizes and bus inventory reports sent from transit authorities
  • Maintain completion records of all copies installed and maintain space & availability reporting
  • Employ conflict management skills as needed including mediating issues between Transit Authorities and sub-contractors
  • Ensure accurate records of all copy inventory and storage
  • Manage and supervise the Transit Inventory Manager
  • Manage the workflow of Transit photography
  • Certify quarterly SOX compliance reporting
  • Participate in the acquisition of new transit contracts including presentation of the operations department during interview meetings

Your Qualifications

  • 7+ years' related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Willingness at times, to do physical work including the use of ladders and posting equipment
  • Competency in Microsoft Office 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook as well as Workforce and Outfront IMS
  • Proactive self-starter who can work independently and anticipate problems before they arise
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills conducive to collaboration
  • Management and leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate people
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment where you must take on multiple responsibilities
  • Energetic self-starter passionate about professional integrity and excellence with a positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm.
  • Valid Driver's License

The salary range for this role is $150,000-$190,000 per year.This role is also eligible for incentive compensation. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate's experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.
