The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including equivalent years in rank, training, and field or discipline; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs. Position Summary The Director, Human Resources serves as a key leader in the College of Engineering with a reporting relationship to the Associate Dean for Administration (ADA). The Director will function as a member of the leadership team, providing effective strategic planning, effective operationalization, handling, and tactical execution, and evaluation of all administrative and functional aspects of the college's Human Resources (HR) for all members of the college including Faculty, Staff, Trainees, Students, Postdocs, etc. as needed. This position maintains confidentiality and requires the alignment and handling of multiple competing priorities while working with multiple stakeholders internally within the Departments, the College, and the University, as well as with external stakeholders. Duties & Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Business or related field and a minimum of five (5) years experience in human resources at a university.
