Location: Remote, USA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00 (Range applies to US candidates only) + Benefits/Variable Comp/Equity - Range may vary based on experience.

Summary

OneStream is looking for a Manager of Proposal Services to join our Revenue Operations team. The Manager, Proposal Services will support OneStream's sales organization in the RFP/RFI process by preparing well written, accurate and cohesive proposals. This position requires exceptional writing, editing/formatting, organization, collaboration, and time management skills.

The Manager, Proposal Services is responsible for overseeing a North American based team of Proposal Writers to ensure adequate balance of workload and assignment of incoming RFX requests. Additionally, this position develops and motivates staff maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and performance.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities



  • Lead an assigned group of Proposal Writers, inspiring the team to meet/exceed departmental goals.
  • Manage RFI/RFP projects - from initial receipt from sales to final submission to the client - to ensure an on-time submission.
  • Coordinate the contributions of project team members (i.e., sales, solution consulting, finance, legal, product management, and other SMEs, as needed) and manage internal deadlines to develop high quality, compliant responses.
  • Participate in team alignment calls and strategy discussions to clarify scope of work, gain insights into the business opportunity, establish internal milestones, understand key messages/differentiators and develop win themes.
  • Respond to corporate-oriented RFI/RFP questions.
  • Manage the proposal finalization process-formatting proofreading and editing for accuracy, clarity and readability.
  • Maintain and improve the proposal knowledge library/inventory of response content and framework.
  • Proactively manage a workload that includes responsibility for multiple proposal assignments and other tasks, as required, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.



Required Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, English, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience as a proposal manager.
  • 3-5 years' experience managing complex proposals in a fast-paced, B2B environment - SaaS technology strongly preferred.



Preferred Education and Experience



  • Experience leading a fully remote team of Proposal Writers professionals.
  • Understanding of cloud/SaaS technology.
  • Experience with salesforce.com.
  • Experience with Ombud.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and empower a team of individual contributors to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Able to effectively prioritize among multiple, competing, high priority RFI/RFP responses.

  • Excellent communicator (written and oral), able to translate complicated ideas into language easily understood by others.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strict attention to detail and accuracy; expert formatting, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Superior project and time management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders at a given time.
  • Team player, able to work both collaboratively and independently.
