We are searching for a Financial Analyst, Principal on behalf our client. This is a 6-month contract with a possibility of an extension or conversion to FTE based on performance assignment. (W-2). The Principal Financial Analyst will be responsible for owning the financial analysis and management of regulated utility activities across the Energy Transmission. They will support month-end close, forecast/budget processes, regulatory compliance, operational cost effectiveness, project execution, process improvement. The role requires strong financial analysis expertise and the ability to provide strategic insights to support decision-making and financial planning.

Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408

6-month contract with a possibility of an extension or conversion to FTE based on performance assignment. (W-2).

Job Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Identify, analyze, and communicate to management the impact on the Company's financial structure, profitability, financial integrity, and competitive position using relevant analytical methods and forecasting models.
  • Provide financial analysis support for various projects, including financial impact on capital expenditure investments.
  • Offer expertise, support, and financial training to company departments that require these services.
  • Perform financial analyses as required by management or regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for Senior and Executive Management.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.



Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to read and analyze financial statements.
  • Prior experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Previous experience in the regulated utility industry.
  • Experience using SAP reporting tools such as BPC/BOBJ.
  • Familiarity with Utilities International (UI).
  • Advanced Excel skills with abilities to improve report processes
