Description

Our corporate office in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring a Payroll Manager to supervise the Payroll Department, ensure employees are paid, maintain integrity of payroll information, and process benefit time.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of payroll function, including keying employee time sheets into payroll system, processing and posting payroll reports, processing payroll checks, and distribution of payroll.
  • Responsible for overseeing the Payroll Department.
  • Responsible for maintaining integrity of payroll information.
  • Responsible for cutting manual checks.
  • Responsible for answering questions from employees.
  • Responsible for training Payroll clerk.
  • Responsible for issuing W-2s.
  • Responsible for processing withholding orders.
  • Responsible for processing Employment Verification Forms/Request of Earnings Forms.
  • Responsible for processing 401k loan approvals.
  • Responsible for processing 401k contributions.
  • Responsible for processing benefit time, including PTO/Sick and Flexible Spending Account.
  • Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Strong time management skills

Qualifications

  • Must have at least three (3) years of payroll experience
  • Management experience preferred
  • Associates Degree in Accounting preferred
