POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Afognak Native Corporation has an opportunity for a Payroll Administrator.The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for providing tax and administrative support to the payroll department. This will include reviewing tax quarterly reporting, processing and reviewing tax notices, preparing audit record requests, and assisting with timekeeping system. This position requires a strong ability to work with a team as well as independently on given tasks to meet deadlines.



  • Pulling and reviewing quarterly tax reports
  • Receiving, reviewing and processing payroll tax notices
  • Assisting with the timekeeping system
  • Processing state tax account registrations
  • Assist employees in accessing W2 with ADP
  • Scanning tax and garnishment notices
  • Utilize Excel for logging and tracking tasks


Payrate:$22.00 to $25.00 hourly

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two (2) years experience in administrative support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
