Advantage Resourcing is looking for a talented CAD Draftsman to become part of our collaborative team in Westwego, LA. Hourly Rate: $18 - $22 Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8 AM - 5 PM; Friday, 8 AM - 2:30 PM In this role, you will create detailed CAD shop drawings based on customer orders for manufacturing and fabrication. You will be responsible for a range of engineering tasks such as configuring, maintaining, and upgrading CAD models, as well as designing and analyzing piping systems and pipe supports. You'll be a key part of ensuring all projects meet regulatory standards and that we maintain the highest level of service and quality. Responsibilities: Develop precise CAD drawings for fabrication and manufacturing based on customer specifications Work on configuring, maintaining, and enhancing CAD models and piping system designs Analyze and design pipe supports, ensuring optimal performance and compliance Respond to engineering inquiries and address requests for additional information Ensure all projects adhere to government regulations and company standards Provide guidance and training to technicians to ensure timely project completion Qualifications: Technical degree or 3-5 years of experience in CAD drafting and product planning Proficient in AutoCAD software Strong foundation in algebra, geometry, and mathematical concepts Exceptional analytical, design, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines Why Work with Us?
