Are you ready to take your accounting experience to the next level to quarterback a team, identify and implement process improvements, and be a driving force in scaling our accounting organization as our industry and company grows and new accounting and reporting technologies emerge?

We are seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team and manage the month-end close and reporting process for our North American legal entities. This role provides ownership of the end-to-end reporting processes, and plays a critical role in ensuring that our accounting and reporting for North American legal entities is accurate, timely, efficient, and SOX-compliant.

This role reports to the Director, Corporate Accounting and is based in either Chaska, MN or Billerica, MA, and will work a hybrid schedule.

What You'll Do:

  • Monthly and quarterly close execution: Manage the month-end close and reporting process for all North American entities, including establishing the cadence of activities to produce timely results. Prepare and/or review journal entries, accounting rollforwards, and account reconciliations.
  • Business partnership: Go beyond accounting. Be a student of Entegris, learn about our business and its operations, and account for it. Serve as a business partner to our sales, procurement, HR, IT, FP&A and other cross-functional teams, assisting them as accounting inquiries come up and providing them with insight into what the numbers mean and trends to be aware of.
  • Reporting and data analysis: Advance your team beyond recording the numbers to reporting and understanding the numbers. Build a strong command of financial reporting and the general ledger structure. Perform monthly variance analyses to identify and report the key drivers of P&L and balance sheet fluxes. Prepare consolidated reports, division level views, and trend analyses for internal stakeholders.
  • Internal controls and SOX compliance: Demonstrate and lead with a controls-first mindset, collaborate with internal audit to streamline and enhance internal controls over financial reporting, and design our controls in a manner that bring value to the business beyond compliance. Update and maintain process flow documentation and liaise with both internal and external auditors.
  • Financial system and master data administration: Serve as the system administrator for various corporate accounting systems including Blackline and the centralized lease accounting system. Oversee the master data administration for cost center and profit centers in the ERP system. Support corporate initiatives and special projects such as ERP upgrades, chart of account reviews, or system-related integration activity.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize our team's accounting and reporting processes, focusing on areas that align with our finance leadership's strategic objectives. Reallocate work between your direct team members and our shared services team members to enhance efficiencies, promote cross-training and development opportunities, and build out lean redundancies.
  • Manage and build a high-performing team: Manage a team of two direct reports and establish goals and objectives annually that align with the Controllership strategies. Work with staff to create personalized development plans, and identify opportunities and stretch assignments to support their professional growth.

What we seek:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Advanced capability in Excel

Outstanding candidates will have:

  • CPA license
  • SAP experience
  • 2+ years of direct management experience and a knack for building high-performing teams
