Continuous Improvement Intern - Summer 2025

The Role:
Our site in Bedford, MA is seeking a/an Continuous Improvement Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration.
In this role, the intern will be applying Lean tools to improve the Bedford Operation by reducing the waste.

What You'll Do:
* 6S audits
* TDM Board updates
* X Matrix Bowler Chart Updates
* Gemba walks
* 6S Patrol

What We Seek:

* Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

* Some leadership strengths

*Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

* Experience with basic Microsoft tools such as excel and power-point

* Ability to understand theory and then adjust for real world projects

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
* Exposure to Lean tools
* Some Lean certification

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
* Mechanical or Industrial engineering Freshman or Sophomore
* 1 year of experience
