EXCITED TO GROW YOUR CAREER? WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE! We are looking for a talented Solution Architect to join our dynamic team and help us shape the future of cloud architecture, developer experience, DevOps, and security inside Automotive Solutions.

Note: This is a hybrid position on the Maritz Fenton, MO campus 3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday)

40% - Lead ideation of technology solutions that address our client's business objectives, needs or challenges. Translate client business objectives into tangible goals that operational and engineering teams understand. Communicate and consult with clients and internal stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions. Develop and/or collaborate on solution design documentation when required

40% - Provide consultation to implementation teams to ensure initial architecture approach is followed. Approves architectural changes requested by the implementation teams .

20% - Proactively identify new technology or integrations ideas to grow our business with existing clients. Update solution design teams on advancements in technologies that support our core business. Develop and document technology point of views for the core business challenges our clients face. Identify opportunities for process improvements between solution design, engineering and operations

Responsibility Segments

  • Cloud Architecture: Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions using Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Ensure optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

  • Developer Experience: Collaborate with development teams to enhance the developer experience by providing robust tools, frameworks, and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

  • DevOps: further adoption of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing. Ensure seamless integration and deployment processes to accelerate delivery cycles.

  • Security: Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect applications and data. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security professionals, to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to align technical solutions with business goals. Mentor and guide team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing.

  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, processes, and procedures. Develop detailed diagrams and visual representations of systems and workflows to ensure clarity and alignment across teams. Maintain up-to-date documentation to support ongoing development and operational activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience

  • Knowledge of IT Architecture design principles

  • Deep full stack expertise of the software life cycle from development to operations

  • Ability to comprehend business strategies and client needs, and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong business acumen and technical competence.

  • Prior experience identifying, creating and delivering technology solutions that support two or more of the following solutions: Consumer engagement/marketing/communications, microlearning, live events, employee engagement and communications, incentives/recognition and/or content generation and sharing and/or online community building and social media

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on cloud architecture, developer experience, DevOps, and security.

  • In-depth knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related services.

  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices, such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.

  • Strong understanding of security principles, including encryption, identity and access management, and network security.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Skills Required

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or Go. Experience with serverless architectures and services (e.g., Google Cloud Functions).

  • Knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firestore).

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.

  • Understanding of networking concepts and technologies (e.g., VPC, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers).

  • Experience with configuration management tools

  • Knowledge of container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes,).

  • Experience with API management and integration (e.g., API Gateway, RESTful services).

  • Proficiency in creating detailed architectural diagrams using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.

  • Experience with Istio for service mesh management.

  • Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
