About Our Team:

The Energetic Threats and Training Department serves the nation's need for energetic threat assessments for weapons of mass destruction first responders. 6646 serves customers from U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, National Nuclear Security Administration, and others by designing and developing inert improvised nuclear devices. Additionally, the department performs large scale threat with real world training venues and scenarios locally at Site 9940 as well as offsite.

What your Job will Be like:

* Perform mechanical fabrication (i.e., welding, cutting, machining).

* Operate heavy equipment (i.e., forklift, boom lift, skid-steer).

Qualifications we Require:

* 5 years' experience in welding (e.g., arc, mig).

* High School or Equivalent Diploma or E-Tech/Vocational/Bus Certificates.

* Experience with operating heavy equipment (e.g., forklift, skid steer).

* Must be US citizen.

* Successful drug screening.

* Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

Qualifications we Desire:

* Associates degree in welding or certificate.

Location/Work Arrangement:

* This position a fully onsite position at Albuquerque, NM.
