As the Water & Natural Resources Business Line Manager, you'll lead the continued growth and evolution of our water resources practice in the New England market. You will be one of the "faces" of Fuss & O'Neill's Water & Natural Resources practice from Maine to New York.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Water & Natural Resources Business Line and Operations team to develop new clients and projects focused on climate adaptation and nature-based approaches to solve traditional engineering challenges
  • Develop, lead, and/or support multi-disciplinary teams on a range of water resource-related projects.
  • Work closely with Business Line, Operations and Marketing Leaders to identify and develop opportunities to grow our practice.
  • Recommend new approaches or technology to build a competitive advantage in the market
  • Recommend key hires and participate in the hiring process in the market; actively engage in staff development assessments and make recommendations for training and/or additional development activities
  • Act as Project Manager with high-profile projects and clients, providing expert-level technical support


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
  • Typically requires at least 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is required; or the ability to acquire in 12-months
  • Desire to mentor staff and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal
